Anse La Raie (Cap Malheureux)
The most popular northern spot: huge lagoon enclosed by a reef up to ~2.5 km offshore, with almost 2 km of one-way riding. SE wind is cross-shore and considered very safe; clear water, flat to choppy, a bit deeper than elsewhere. Two reef waves ('Yachya', 'Panic') for experienced riders only.
