Alexandra Falls (point de vue)
On the Plaine Champagne road, a large car park with a few vendors marks the start of a short shady path: past picnic tables and a small bridge over a calm river, you reach the viewpoint in five minutes. A wooden platform gives a panorama over the forested valley and the south-east coast, with the white ribbon of Alexandra Falls on the right. More seasoned walkers can extend on a 2.75 km loop that drops to the top of the falls, which is much steeper. A must-stop when crossing the park.
No warning in force. Rain forecast on the plateau: 2.1 mm over 24 h.
There's no official real-time information: the park can close without notice after heavy rain. Call before you go.
No GPX track yet: the pin shows the start (or summit, see “Start”).
